Kristian Cunningham

Kristian is a well-recognised Producer, Creative and Performing Arts Teacher based in the Midlands. He trained at the The Urdang Academy in London and graduated in Professional Dance & Musical Theatre. Following his performance career, Kristian decided that he wanted to create a Performing Arts Hub to educate and train the local talent to a high standard.

KTCo was formed and Kristian now oversees the running of the dance & musical theatre training as well as producing their adult shows and is also the course leader of the company’s tailor-made foundation course, the Accelerate Training Programme. Alongside leading the team at Kristian Thomas Company, he works as a choreographer and a developing creative artist.

A message from Kristian

Every week, working as a Creative Director for Kristian Thomas Company, I am astounded by the level of talent, professionalism and kindness of our students, faculty and members.

I am so proud to be a part of our students’ performing arts journey and with so many alumni going onto to be successful in professional work or gain places at top drama schools, in just six years alone, I cannot wait to continue to watch KTCo’s future expand. I truly believe I have the most solid faculty of experts who lead the training at the studios, there is nothing more rewarding for us a team to see students not only achieve their dreams but grow into young professionals and well-rounded, confident adults.

Not only this, but the level of productions that we continue to produce is so exciting and these are memories that are made and will last a lifetime for all involved. I am in awe of our Adult Company members and their commitment to the studios, supporting the students and delivering first class entertainment. We have the most incredible time and it is where the company began and slick, high-end shows will always be at the heart of KTCo.

Kristian Thomas Company is a very special place, it is an honour to be involved and amongst the passion and drive. The feeling we all have behind those studio doors is electric and it’s just the beginning…
