Accelerate Graduate Season 2024

Welcome to our Accelerate Graduate Season 2024, every year our Accelerate Grads perform in two shows at the end of their course. The first being a play, this year ‘Punk Rock’, performed at The Nottingham Playhouse. The second being their end of year showcase, this year titled One Singular Sensation, performed at The Duchess Theatre. Find out more below.

Punk Rock is set in the library of a fee-paying grammar school, William and his fellow Sixth-Formers are preparing for their mock A-Levels while navigating the pressures of teenage life. They are educated and aspirational young people, but step-by-step, the disclocation, disjunction and latent aggression is revealed.

This show is being performed at The Neville Studio, Nottingham Playhouse on Saturday 11th May at 5pm and 7:30pm and you can purchase tickets directly from the Nottingham Playhouse Website. 

One Singular Sensation is a song cycle from shows such as ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘Curtains’, ‘Kiss Me Kate’, ‘Smash’ and more. It follows four stages; The Auditions, The Rehearsals, The Dressing Rooms & The Show. We watch a variety of characters go from audition to opening night.

This show is being performed at The Duchess Theatre, Long Eaton on Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th May at 7:30pm and you can purchase tickets below.
